Strategy

We make every effort to make Uniqom a unique place for our customers, our suppliers and our employees, thus justifying the meaning inherent in the Company name (“Uniqom” is formed from an abbreviation of words “Unique” and “Company”). To do this, the Company adheres to the three simple principles:

It is our customers, our suppliers and our employees that make Uniqom successful and rapidly growing. And the main component of this success is confidence in the Company earned by years of hard work. Much of the success is determined by the strategy of its development.

Product strategy

We know that the best thing we can do for customers is to provide a wide range of high quality products at reasonable prices in one place. They can find a constellation of brands; almost every brand is the leader in its product category. Uniqom is an official distributor for all brands offered by the Company. This principle rules out the possibility of purchasing counterfeit products, enables our customers to buy products at the best prices and get warranty and technical support from the manufacturers.     

The Company develops a range of products in two product lines: 1) auto parts, 2) auto chemicals and accessories. Within these two lines marketing strategy and the sales system are separately built up.

The auto parts product line.

Uniqom is developing a range of spare parts for imported cars that are in high demand on the Russian market. The Company focuses on Japanese, Korean, European and American cars. Historically, the Company has launched the first range for Japanese cars, so the Japanese parts are represented most completely. The Company is constantly developing the range of spare parts for foreign cars, each month offering new brands and new items of replacement parts.

Obviously, the quality of the parts is associated with the reliability and life length of the vehicle, whereas some parts affect the safety of driving. Therefore, Uniqom has developed strict criteria for selecting a partner for the supply of spare parts. As a result, the Company supplies auto parts from the largest plants, most of which are certified OEM suppliers to car manufacturers. Many of them are world-wide known manufacturers throughout the world and market leaders in their segments. The Company's suppliers are mainly concentrated in Japan, EU countries, Korea, and some manufacturers are located in Malaysia, Taiwan and South America.

The auto chemicals and accessories product line.

Within this framework, the Company develops a range of products in the following categories: automotive chemicals, car care products and car accessories. This product line requires a constant marketing activity, so here Uniqom focused on several brands, almost all of them are supplied exclusively. The Company was one of the first in Russia to begin developing the markets of Japanese and Korean automotive chemicals and car accessories. Therefore, Uniqom is a distributor of the largest and most reputable manufacturers of these products in Japan and South Korea. Now, these brands have become leaders in the Russian market and have won the love and trust of Russian drivers.

In the category of car accessories the Company is developing its own brand iSky, collaborating with the most reliable and technologically advanced Chinese manufacturers.

Development of partnership exclusive brands

The development of sales of products of our foreign partners demanded that the Company shall carry out a complex of marketing activities, adapt products to the market, exchange technical and market information. So for several brands of spare parts, accessories and chemicals Uniqom has special long-term partnership relations based on cooperation in conducting marketing activities as well as close technical collaboration.

We appreciate very much the long-term cooperation with our suppliers based on mutual trust and support of initiatives of each party.       

Development of distribution network and sales system

The strategy of development of the branch network of the Company is primarily focused on improving the quality of customer service. Russia's lack of a developed transport system and large internal distances have made a Company priority the establishment of its own logistics infrastructure through the opening of branches and representative offices in the key cities of the Russian Federation. The Company constantly improves the efficiency of the logistics system introducing modern technologies in the field of warehouse and transport logistics.

The development of the branch network is also associated with the obligations to our suppliers to promote products in all regions of the Russian market. Therefore, we provide to our foreign partners a quick opportunity to access to the Russian market through the created customer's network.

The target customers of the Company are automotive stores, garages, online stores, household supermarkets, and in some segments of the market - dealers.

The Company offers a flexible system of discounts and individual approach to each client. Regardless of the size of the client's business, Uniqom encourages customers that deal with a wide range of products. Like Uniqom, most of its clients are concerned about their image of sellers of quality goods.
